I absolutely loved providing acoustic wedding music for this beautiful vineyard wedding in eloping fashion. Congratulations Ruth & Michael. Ruth and Michael got married at the stunning Chateau Yaldara in the Barossa Valley. The ceremony was held outside on the lawn, just in time when the sun decided to shine for them. Due to Covid and their wedding party being unable to attend, the couple decided to have a very intimate wedding with 11 guests attending. It was wonderful to be part of such an intimate wedding. I loved singing for them to supplement the atmosphere.
Ruth and her bridesmaids walked down the stairs from the Chateau around the fountain to my rendition of “Feels like home” Michael and Ruth signed the wedding registry to my acoustic versions of “Bubbly” and “I’m yours” and walked out as husband and wife to “Shallow” . The ceremony conducted by Aphrodite was short and sweet and brought quite some tears of joy.
The couple was off taking some pictures after the ceremony, while I kept singing acoustic hits for the guests who enjoyed canapes and drinks outside in the sun. Lots of great songs to choose from and some of the guests favourites included my version of ‘what a wonderful world’ by Sam Cooke, Ed Sheeran’s wedding hit ‘Perfect’ and ‘The Reason’ by Hoobastang.
Thank you for letting me bring music to this wonderful day. I loved providing acoustic wedding music for your vineyard wedding in eloping fashion. Certainly, a new experience for me. I am sure I will be part of more eloping weddings with the current climate. I wish you all the best for your married life.
